Calne

Stourton is part of the National Trust's Stourhead.

Melksham is a very pleasant market town on the River Avon. Still growing in popularity it is now the fifth largest town in Wiltshire. The town won a Silver Award in the 2013 South West in Bloom contest.

Salisbury Racecourse is not in Salisbury but about four miles away in Netherhampton. Used for flat racing it is a summer racecoure. Other events use the racecourse as a venue for its central location to downland and the city.

Spirthill is only a tiny place that can just be described as a hamlet. With its position on a hilltop it has fine views all round. Situated not too far from Calne.
