Best Camping Gear
The importance of the best camping gear cannot be over stated. Whether one is walking/hiking or cycling, a holiday in this lovely area of Wessex can be completely spoiled by the failure of equipment. Safety too is an essential ingredient ie on the moors!!!!
It is unlikely there is a better holiday than exploring and roving through the highways, byways and footpaths of rural Wessex. Whether it is the Devon farmland or mystic moorland, rural Dorset or the Jurassic coast, Hampshire Downs or the New Forest, the microcosm that is the Isle of Wight, the green hills of Somerset or the wilds of Wiltshire. Or all the hideaways in between. There is little to beat it.

The kids love a freedom holiday camping, they can run and play, climb trees, get grubby and just be kids. Think of the memories they'll have. Do you have some? The author does!
One can tour fairly cheaply with a tent, there are camping sites all over Wessex. Or find a site that is central to all the things you want to do. Near the sea, in the countryside, close to a festival.
If a tent does not appeal, why not a caravan? There are all sorts out there from small pop up ones to motorhomes. The pop up ones are less expensive and they are fun. Easier to tow as well. Best make sure your car is up to the job of towing! If you need to hire a car there are some great bargains on this page.

Have a close look at this firm for everything camping whether for a caravan or a tent. An excellent selection. There are super out of town stores at Horsham, in West Sussex, one in the New Forest at Three Legged Cross not far from Ringwood, another in Romford in Essex and online goods can be picked up at the Aldershot site. You can even pay online via Pay Pal.
